How to Make Ronto Wraps (Ronto Roasters in Hollywood Studios)

Finding a good quick service option in a Disney park is essential to ensuring a successful park day. There is so much to do and see at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You don’t want to spend valuable park time trying to decide where to go, circling the park, and end up in a long line for food. Instead, we love placing a mobile order in advance and heading over to Ronto Roasters. Our menu item of choice is the Ronto Wrap – it is a portable, filling, delicious wrap that will keep you on schedule during a fun filled Hollywood Studio day!

What is a Ronto Wrap?

Disney describes the Ronto Wrap as “Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, and Tangy Slaw wrapped in Pita Bread”. The balance of ingredients is what makes this item so tasty. The warm and salty pork perfectly compliments the cold and tangy slaw. The peppercorn sauce adds some sweetness and richness. And all of it is packaged in a perfectly toasted Pita Bread. This makes it a fantastic option for on-the-go eating on your way to the next lightning lane reservation.

Hollywood Studios

There is so much to enjoy in Hollywood Studios, even if it isn’t your favorite park. In addition to amazing thrill rides, Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge are arguably two of the most immersive “lands” in all of Disney World. Even if you don’t like riding all the rides you will enjoy just walking through Hollywood Studios feeling like you’ve stepped into a movie or gone back in time.

One of our favorite things about Hollywood Studios is that it is the only place on Disney World property that you can get the popular Ronto Wrap, in a park where there aren’t a ton of great food options. You can even place a mobile order first thing in the morning and avoid waiting in line.

Galaxy’s Edge

Galaxy’s Edge is Hollywood Studios newest land, located in the back of the park. In this land you will find incredible theming, transporting you to an outpost on planet Batuu. The imagineers did an incredible job with this. It really is hard to not feel like you are on the set of a Star Wars movie as soon as you walk into the land.

Ronto Roasters

Ronto Roasters is in Galaxy’s Edge between Smuggler’s Run and Rise of the Resistance. This location is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast you can get a Ronto Morning Wrap, Overnight Oats, or Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap (Plant-based). For Lunch and Dinner you can get the classic Ronto Wrap or Plant-Based Zucchi Wrap. There are Kyryll Pork Rinds available as a side during all three meal times.

The atmosphere at Ronto Roasters is so fun! It really feels like you are in an exotic restaurant. It is very fast paced as it gets incredibly busy. We love that there are limited menu options so it makes it very easy to choose. This could even be a good place for a picky eater because the Ronto Wrap is basically the Star Wars version of a hot dog. What do picky eaters like more than hot dogs?

Alternatives and Tips

  • To make this recipe a bit simpler you can replace the peppercorn sauce with pre-made tzatziki sauce
  • You can replace the cabbage and carrots for the slaw with pre-made coleslaw mix, just ad onion and the dressing.
  • When grilling the pita, don’t get them too crispy or they may get crumbly.
