How to Make Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings from ‘Ohana

We love to eat at ‘Ohana over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Our family tradition has always been to have one big meal together on vacation and at Disney World our first choice is ‘Ohana. Most of us would probably point to one of the appetizers or side dishes as our favorite menu item. A lot has been said about the delicious Ohana Noodles – check out our recipe for those as well. Today’s focus, however, is on the sweet and spicy Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings.

Cinderella Castle

Polynesian Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Resort is a classic Disney World hotel. It is one of only two hotels that were there for Disney World’s opening day in 1971. Polynesian served as the flagship hotel prior to Grand Floridian’s opening and many of the most important and noteworthy guests who visited Disney World in those early days would stay here. In fact, The Beatles themselves broke up at this very resort!

Polynesian is known for its beautiful landscaping, immersive theming, convenient location, and some delicious dining options. ‘Ohana stands out as the signature dining offering at the resort and as one of the most popular restaurants in all of Walt Disney World. Be sure to be online at 6am 60 days ahead of the date you want to dine here – it will book up fast.

If you do manage to snag that reservation though, you won’t be disappointed. There is something at ‘Ohana for everyone!

Prep Time: 30 MinutesCook Time: 35 Minutes
  1. Preheat oven to 500F. Racks should be one upper and lower third of oven. Line two rimmed baking sheets with foil and add a raised baking rack, spray with nonstick spray.

  5. Add cooked wings to a bowl with desired amount of Honey Sauce. Serve with remaining sauce or preferred dipping sauce and enjoy.

Final Thoughts on Our Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings

This recipe really transported us to Polynesian Village Resort and ‘Ohana. We really enjoyed the crispiness of the wings along with the salty, sweet, spicy sauce. The perfect dish to serve on a nice summer day when you’re missing Disney World. I think it would be even better with some delicious ‘Ohana Noodles.
